Resource Progress Bar - Monitor your resource usage
Review by on
It is always worth knowing how much memory or processing power is being used on your system, especially if you're experiencing performance issues. Resource Progress Bar can provide you with a picture of how your hardware is being used. It displays the current CPU, memory, disk and network usage and the best part is that you can keep the information on the screen, without being hindered in any way.

The application can be used on any modern Windows system and it doesn't need to be installed. It comes as a single executable, which is less than one MB. There is no need to meet any special requirements and you won't feel any effects on your computer's performance.

Resource Progress Bar constantly monitors your hardware usage. When launched, the application will display a small panel on your screen, with four progress bars. These bars represent your current CPU, memory, disk and network usage. You can move this panel anywhere on the screen and due to its small size, you won't feel that it gets in the way of your work.

Right clicking the aforementioned panel will reveal a few useful options. Besides setting it to stay on top of everything, you can also change the panel's opacity, disable and enable individual bars and enable flashing disk and network LEDs. It is also possible to set a minimum and maximum value rate, between 128 KB and 100 MB

With Resource Progress Bar running on your computer, you can keep an eye on your resource usage at all times.

Pros:
The application has a compact user interface, which doesn't get in your way. It provides you with a few useful options. It doesn't need to be installed and it doesn't use a significant amount of resources.

Cons:
The application may be a bit too simple for some users.
